As a recruitment consultant, I cannot overstate the importance of addressing any doubts the interviewer may have about your suitability for the role ๐—ฑ๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด the interview. There is an important question I coach the professionals I’m representing to ask;

This gives you the opportunity to directly address any potential concerns the interviewer may about your suitability for the role. Often concerns arise from a wrong assumption, misunderstanding, or lack of information. This can be easily cleared up and addressed during the interview.

Once the interview is over, it can often be difficult to address any potential concerns as a decision may have already been made.

Asking this question not only shows that you are willing to address any potential weak spots, but it also shows that you are confident enough to discuss them. This type of impression can be invaluable to potential employers and can go a long way to ensuring a positive outcome at interview.
