Role Overview: The Client Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting a diverse portfolio of longstanding clients, inherited from a retiring Partner. This position is instrumental in delivering both management and statutory accounts, along with general business advisory services. The role offers an opportunity for significant growth and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a varied client portfolio with a focus on high-quality service delivery.
• Preparing and reviewing management and statutory accounts.
• Providing business advisory services tailored to client needs.
• Reviewing the work of junior staff members, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborating with engaged partners to contribute to staff development and wellbeing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Professional qualification with ICAS, ACCA, or a similar recognised body.
• Proven experience in accountancy and client management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice would be advantageous.

Location: Ayr or Glasgow (candidate’s preference). Free onsite parking in Ayr and heavily subsidised parking in Glasgow.
