The firm boasts a dynamic team of nearly 30 staff members, dedicated to fostering a positive and supportive culture.
Role Overview: The Client Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting a diverse portfolio of longstanding clients, inherited from a retiring Partner. This position is instrumental in delivering both management and statutory accounts, along with general business advisory services. The role offers an opportunity for significant growth and professional development.
- Managing a varied client portfolio with a focus on high-quality service delivery.
- Preparing and reviewing management and statutory accounts.
- Providing business advisory services tailored to client needs.
- Reviewing the work of junior staff members, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborating with engaged partners to contribute to staff development and wellbeing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Professional qualification with ICAS, ACCA, or a similar recognised body.
- Proven experience in accountancy and client management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice would be advantageous.
Location: Ayr or Glasgow (candidate’s preference). Free onsite parking in Ayr and heavily subsidised parking in Glasgow.
