We’re working with a successful UK-based company seeking a skilled Group Finance Manager to join their Group Finance team. The Role:
The Group Finance Manager is a crucial position, working closely with the Group FC to ensure timely and accurate reporting on financial metrics that drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the monthly reporting cycle, providing insightful analysis to Senior Management.
- Refine and develop reporting materials for the Board and executive team for optimal decision-making.
- Create scenario-based financial models to support strategic planning.
- Manage company-wide KPI reporting, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement.
- Analyse data from various sources to present a clear picture of business performance to leadership.
- Assist with external market messaging and analyst communications.
- Lead the annual budgeting and reforecasting process.
- Participate in company-wide initiatives, delivering ad hoc performance reporting.
- Mentor a Business Performance Finance Analyst, providing coaching and development.
Your Profile:
- Chartered Accountant or equivalent.
- Proven experience in commercial and/or management reporting, with exposure to senior leadership.
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic mindset.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication.
- Proficient with financial statements.
The position is initially for 15-18 months to cover maternity leave. There is a reasonable prospect, that the contract may be extended or a permanent position offered in the future.
