As a recruitment consultant, I can’t stress enough how important it is for candidates to express their interest in a job opportunity at the end of an interview. It may seem obvious, but I’ve seen too many qualified candidates miss out on offers simply because they didn’t clearly convey their enthusiasm for the role.
Next time you’re interviewing for a position, make sure to take the time to express your interest in the opportunity. Thank the interviewer for their time and reiterate why you believe you would be a good fit for the role. It may just be the difference between getting the job or not!
