The Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Audit Manager to join a growing accountancy team. You will manage a portfolio of audit clients, oversee client service delivery and support the development of junior team members.

The role also involves accounts preparation, corporation tax work and providing practical guidance on financial reporting and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of audit clients and oversee the quality of work delivered.
• Lead workflow planning and support the management of team workloads.
• Prepare and review accounts and corporation tax computations and returns for limited companies.
• Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance on tax, VAT, UK legislation and good governance.
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to develop business.
• Contribute to revenue and profitability targets.
• Coach and mentor junior colleagues.
• Support partners with wider business and client-related activities.

What We’re Looking For

• ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent qualified.
• Experience managing audit clients across a variety of industries.
• Working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Experience overseeing audit assignments and managing client portfolios.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.
• Experience coaching and developing junior team members.
• A commercially aware approach, with a focus on high-quality client service and business growth.
