The Role: As an Accounts Senior, you will manage a portfolio of SME businesses, providing a proactive service and maintaining strong client relationships. Your responsibilities will include the preparation of accounts for Limited Companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders, as well as drafting Personal and Corporation Tax computations. You will assist the departmental manager and partner with ad hoc client tasks, ensuring that your technical knowledge of accounting standards, corporation, and personal tax is always up to date. Communication is key in this role, as you will be liaising with both clients and HMRC, as well as collaborating with colleagues to provide a coordinated service to clients.

About You:

  • You are a qualified accountant (happy to also consider CBE) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience within an accounting practice.
  • You are competent in the preparation of sole trader and FRS102 Limited Company accounts.
  • You demonstrate a clear commitment to delivering first-class service to both clients and colleagues.
  • You possess excellent IT skills and the ability to retain knowledge related to software.
  • You have strong communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to manage your own workload to meet tight deadlines.
